EXPLORING SCIENCE : YEAR 9 STUDENTS DIVE INTO ANATOMY
This term, Year 9 students had the chance to delve into the complexities of Biology through a hands-on rat dissection activity. Guided by their teachers, the students explored anatomical structures and organ systems, deepening their understanding of the incredible workings of living organisms.
The session emphasised respect for the specimen and the scientific process, encouraging students to approach the task with curiosity and professionalism.
Though challenging for some, the dissection proved to be an educational and memorable step in their science studies, fostering teamwork, discovery, and a greater appreciation for the intricacies of life.
