MAKING A SPLASH FOR A GREAT CAUSE
Throughout March, a group of exceptional students embraced the challenge of participating in Laps for Life, a nationwide swimming initiative dedicated to supporting youth mental health services. By taking the plunge into this worthy cause, they not only demonstrated their impressive swimming abilities but also made a profound impact by raising awareness and funds to ensure young Australians have access to essential mental health resources.
Driven by dedication and teamwork, our students set inspiring personal goals—some striving for record-breaking lap counts, while others aimed for personal bests. Their efforts showcased more than just physical endurance; they highlighted the power of community spirit in creating meaningful change.
We are delighted to announce that their combined efforts raised an incredible $2,409! Every dollar raised will go directly toward programs that provide vital mental health support for young people across the country.
This remarkable initiative was organized by Secondary teacher, Ms Georgia Brown, whose dedication and leadership were key to its success. A heartfelt thank you to Ms Brown for uniting our students and making this opportunity possible.
The students who participated in this initiative were: Amity Buscher, Milton Lemon, Emma Pradella, Jessica Pradella, Jordan Pradella, Chloe Schnitzerling, Billy Skuse, Alexander Stefanon, Camilla Watts, Dakota Burton and Eliza Bonner.
We are immensely proud of their commitment, enthusiasm, and collective spirit. We would also like to thank everyone who supported their fundraising efforts.
