Jesse Manibusan Visits Secondary Students
As part of the Year of Youth celebrations, the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office arranged for renowned American musician Jesse Manibusan to visit schools to perform and conduct workshops with the students.
Last Wednesday, Jesse, through his music, catechesis, comedy and story worked with students from Years 7-12 as well as students from Assumption College, Warwick.
Jesse Manibusan is a composer, singer/songwriter, storyteller, humourist, catechist, evangelizer and encourager. Jesse works with any and every age group and has that knack to build instant rapport, connect to his audience, and create life-giving memories that help deepen faith and cultivate the joy that inspires service, sacrifice and the celebration of life.
Jesse earned an MA in Multicultural Ministries from the Franciscan School of Theology, Berkeley, CA, and gives concerts, workshops, parish missions, and retreats.
This visit by such an inspiring person was a wonderful opportunity for our youth.
