“Back to the 80s” Trivia Night success

“Back to the 80s” Trivia Night success

Last Saturday night, the Bathersby Stadium was transformed back in time to the 1980s. Over 250 people took the opportunity to dress up in 80s fashion, and turn back the clock to relive this fascinating period. An array of costumes were on display as trivia fanatics gathered for this St Joseph’s P&F Association fundraising event. Master of ceremonies for the evening, Rob Reeves, kept the crowd entertained and ensured the program ran smoothly. The 80s inspired photo booth was kept busy as new memories were captured.

The evening was deemed a success by those who attended. The fun-filled event had all the elements to keep everyone entertained and ensure no-one went home disappointed. Once the trivia was completed, DJ Wrenny kept the atmosphere kicking on with the after Trivia disco.

Congratulations to the winners of 1st place, F.O.C.U.S, 2nd place, Blondie (My Drinking Team has a Trivia Problem), 3rd place, Uncultured Club and the Wooden Spoon winners, Married with Children. The Care Bears were delighted to be named best dressed team with Remo Raccanello and Kellie Biggin named best dressed male and female.

A huge thank you is extended to the many generous local businesses and sponsors who donated prizes for the multi-draw raffle and various different sections. Thank you to the P&F Association and Trivia Night Committee for organising a successful and enjoyable event. Evenings such as the Trivia Night allow not only families of St Joseph’s School to gather socially, but also for the wider community to join in the fun.
